SOURCE ACCESS, INC. ANNOUNCES TIME SAVING IMPROVEMENTS
Source Access, Inc. announces two enhancements to their Source Access Management System (SAMS), an "On-Line Doctor Database Search" tool and a "Records Not Viewed" page. These enhancements will benefit client companies by saving time on both ends of the Medical Records Retrieval/Attending Physician Statement (APS) process.
The "On-Line Doctor Database Search" tool allows clients to access Source Access, Inc.'s doctor information data from the order page. This source of information will insure a correct doctor/medical facility match and automatically populate the correct fields with no additional keystrokes required on the part of the person making the request. This will not only save keystrokes (time) but will also decrease the number of requests that will be closed without records. Currently about seven (7) percent of all requests are closed because the doctor/medical facility did not have records on the applicant or claimant. H.W. Highfill, President and CEO of Source Access, Inc. stated, "This should prove to be a great tool for our client companies. They will be able to provide accurate information which will in turn allow their requests to be completed with a much higher success rate. Our clients will not have to spend their valuable time looking up a doctor's contact information or even inputting much of it because we will provide it on the order page."
The "Records not Viewed" page will enable client companies to bring up all records that have been scanned onto the web page but not viewed by the respective client companies. Separating records that have been viewed from the ones that have not been viewed will make a big impact on the amount of time spent by our clients in getting to the information they need. An additional feature will enable clients to see exactly how many pages each record contains. Highfill said, "The Records not Viewed page and the ability to display the number of pages each record contains are examples of our desire to listen to our clients and our ability to make their suggestion a reality in a short period of time. It goes hand in hand with our commitment to value."
